INdAM meeting
Contemporary Trends in the Mathematics
of Quantum Mechanics

Rome, 4-8 July 2016

Gianfausto Dell'Antonio (LA SAPIENZA ROME and MMQM-SISSA) and Alessandro Michelangeli (MMQM-SISSAorganisers

castelnuovo

An international workshop to discuss the recent advances
in some among the most topical trends of the mathematics for quantum-mechanical models,
specifically from condensed matter, solid state physics, ultra-cold atom physics:

  • linear and non-linear Schrödinger equations on graphs and manifolds
  • effective quantum many-body dynamics
  • mathematical challenges of zero-range interactions
  • modern problems of self-adjointness in quantum mechanics
  • topological and geometrical methods in solid state physics
  • analytical and numerical models of quantum decoherence
