Mini biography
My main mathematical interest is algebraic geometry. I'm in debt for this to Prof. Massimiliano Mella who introduced me to the subject at University of Ferrara; he was also my advisor for my Bachelor Degree (Laurea Triennale) in 2006. After that I moved to University of Pisa where I obtained the Master Degree (Laurea Specialistica) in 2008 with advisor Prof. Rita Pardini. In my thesis I computed the automorphisms groups of a subclass of Godeaux surfaces. From November 2008 to October 2012 I was a PhD student at SISSA with advisor Prof. Rita Pardini and Prof. Barbara Fantechi. I spent my last year of Ph.D. as a visiting student at University of Pisa, and obtained the PhD on October 19, 2012.
