My research lies at the intersection of strongly correlated electron systems, topological quantum phase transitions, and entanglement properties in quantum materials. I bridge theoretical physics with design and development of novel numerical methods, to exploit scalable high-performance computing.

Research Focus

Strongly Correlate Electrons DMFT / ED / DMRG

Investigation of Mott-Hubbard phase transitions, orbital selectivity, and symmetry-breaking states in lattice models and correlated heterostructures using exact and dynamical mean-field methodologies.

Interacting Topological States Topological Physics

Interplay between electron-electron correlations and non-trivial topology, topological quantum phase transitions, edge-state reconstruction, and symmetric mass generation in low-dimensional systems.

Non-Equilibrium Dynamics Driven Systems

Real-time dynamics and temporal evolution of quantum interacting systems subjected to strong external field drives, ultrafast quenches, and coupling to thermal baths.

HPC & Software Engineering Modern Fortran / Python

Designing object-oriented, highly scalable parallel engines for quantum many-body systems (Exact Diagonalization, DMRG) optimized for multi-core HPC cluster environments.

Scientific Software & Open-Source Projects

I am a strong advocate for high-performance open-source computational tools in physics, leveraging modern Fortran paradigms for numerical kernels and Python for analytics.

SciFortran Fortran 2003/2008

A comprehensive, object-oriented library for mathematics, science, and engineering in modern Fortran — providing high-level abstractions and numerical routines (akin to SciPy for Python).

EDIpack Fortran / MPI

A generic, parallel, high-performance Lanczos-based Exact Diagonalization solver package designed for quantum impurity problems within DMFT and correlated models.

Comput. Phys. Commun. 273 (2022)

nssDMRG Parallel DMRG

Scalable, parallel Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) engine tailored for interacting 1D electronic systems, featuring entanglement-based wavefunctions.
