Here is some updated information about the
Workshop on \\
QUANTUM FIELD THEORY, NONCOMMUTATIVE
GEOMETRY AND QUANTUM PROBABILITY.

\medskip
{\bf Arrival.}
The scientific programme will start in the morning of March 26th, and will end
afternoon of March 29th. Registration will take place on Sunday,
March 25th, at 6PM at the Cafeteria of the ICTP Main Building and will be
followed, at 7PM, by a welcome buffet.

\medskip
{\bf Mini-courses.} The programme will include the following mini-courses,

\begin{itemize}

\item L. Accardi, TBA

\item A. Connes, Quantum Field Theory and Noncommutative Geometry

\item B. Dubrovin, TBA

\item D. Kreimer, Algebraic structures in (non-)perturbative Quantum
Field Theory

\item L. Woronowicz, Quantum groups on $C^*$-level at roots of unity
\end{itemize}

There will also be about 12 one-hour talks and a few shorter communications.
A preliminary programme is enclosed.

\medskip
{\bf The conference site.} The workshop will take place in the Main
Lecture Hall in the
Main Building of the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP).
This is part of a campus also including the International School for
Advanced Studies (SISSA) and the Department of Theoretical Physics
of the University
of Trieste. The campus is located within the Park of Miramare Castle,
in a pine wood
near the sea, some 6 km west of downtown Trieste.

\medskip
{\bf Meals.}
We have arranged for meals to be served in the ICTP cafeteria.
During the registration you will be given coupons to be used for meals.

\medskip
{\bf Accommodation.} All participants will be accommodated at the
ICTP Adriatico Guest House (Via Grignano 9, Grignano, tel. 040 224241;
Grignano is a small seaside village, some 400 m from the campus)
or at the Galileo Guest House (in via Beirut, close to the SISSA
building, tel. 040
2240311).

\smallskip
You will soon receive a confirmation for your accomodation at one of the two
Guest Houses. If by any chance you do not get it by the beginning of March,
please let us know.

\medskip{\bf Travel.} Trieste is located in north-eastern Italy. It
is connected
by Intercity trains to Milano (via Venezia) and Rome (via
Firenze-Bologna-Venezia).

\medskip
Trieste airport is in Ronchi dei Legionari, some 35 km west of Trieste.

\medskip
If you arrive by train,
you may take the No.~36 bus up to the terminus which is nearby the
Adriatico Guest House; if you are at the Galileo Guest House, the relevant stop
is the last but one at the end of the second tunnel.
The Bus 36 stops at the beginning of viale Miramare, on
the left when you get out of the station.
A taxi would cost about 20,000 lire.

\medskip
If you arrive by air there is a bus connecting the airport to Trieste,
arriving at the railway station. Upon request the bus stops in
Grignano.

\bigskip

We look forward to meeting you in Trieste!
