Brief overview
The stellar evolution code PARSEC is an updated version of the Padova's stellar evolution code. The goal of this project is to provide the astronomical community a big amount of single-stellar evolutionary models. It was first published in 2012 in which many major input physics such as the equation of state, opacities, nuclear reaction rate, microscopic diffusion and the calculation of the pre-main sequence phase were implemented. Over the year, the PARSEC stellar track database is expanded in terms of mass, metallicity and most recently is rotation. All the stellar tracks are then transformed into isochonres, by using TRILEGAL code, in many photometry systems.
