About Me

I am interested in Cosmology since there are many many open questions which people are trying to understand and interpret. We are now in the era of precision cosmology so it's going to be very exciting.

I am a PhD student in Astrophysics at the International School of Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste (Italy) and I have been working on data analysis for Cosmic Microwave Background ground based experiments under the supervision of prof. Carlo Baccigalupi and Dr. Giulio Fabbian since October 2013 (when my PhD started). I am actually spending my last year of PhD whose defence is expected to be by September 2017.

Since late 2014 I have been part of the Master in High Performance Computing (MHPC). This Master is meant to improve the young scientists capability in writing massively parallel codes, installing and handling any scientific library, object oriented programming, finite element methods, iterative methods, large-data manipulation, parallel linear algebra and advanced numerical analysis. Therefore I had the opportunity to improve not only my capabilities in writing code with any scientific language (e.g. Fortran, C, C++, Python) shared with other collaborators by using GIT, but also to switch into parallel coding.
