Mosix Java Monitor
mjm is a Mosix Java Monitor.
It is a package that contains :
- a linux daemon (mjmd) that runs on a node of a mosix cluster and on demand
transmits via tcp the load info to a java applet.
- a java applet that shows load info on the nodes of a mosix cluster obtained
from a load daemon
apache running on the mosix node
install the redhat apache rpm: rpm -i .....
edit the /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf file
start the server: /etc/rc.d/init.d/httpd start
install the mjm
restart the inetd daemon : /etc/rc.d/init.d/inet restart
load in a browser the page: http://mosix.host/mjm.htm (for up to 8 nodes)
or http://mosix.host/mjm16.htm (for up to 16 nodes)
uses tcp port 11338 on the mosix node to listen for requests.
The rpm will check for the existence of the kernel-mosix and apache
If you installed mosix using the source,force the installation of the
rpm with : rpm -i --nodeps --force
