Tarvisio, 16-17 December 2024
The first Christmas Biophysics Workshop was organized by Rudolf Podgornik (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and Silvia Tomić (Zagreb, Croatia) in 2006 in Zagreb. Since then, every year in early December research groups from Austria, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia gather together in a small town of the region to share their research. The character of the meeting is rather informal and it aims to create a relaxed atmosphere in which recent results and ideas are discussed, scientific collaborations are established and friendships grow beyond borders.
This year the workshop will be held in Tarvisio, a small town of the Province of Udine in Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, close to the borders between Austria, Italy and SLovenia. Participants will present their work in short talks throughout Monday 16 and the morning of Tuesday 17 of December. At the midpoint we all will enjoy a social dinner with a festive mood in the expectation of holidays.

The organization will manage the accommodation for all participants once they complete the registration. The prices indicated below include, for 16-17 December 2024:
The lunches of Monday 16 and Tuesday 17 will be at a cost of 25 Eur each.
The Hotel Nevada will provides a conference hall, and private parking will be available for hotel guests.
