I'm a PhD student at SISSA, International Superior School of Advanced Studies, in the Geometry and Mathematical Physics research group.

You can find me in room 114 of the SISSA building, Via Bonomea, 265, 34136 Trieste (TS) or mail me at: nrungi@sissa.it

Before that I studied at University of Rome "Sapienza" and I wrote my Master's thesis under the supervision of Prof. Gabriele Mondello.

In my thesis I studied in depth the Donaldson's proof of the Narasimhan-Seshadri Theorem. It claims that on a compact Riemann surface of genus g>1 the moduli space of Hermite-Einstein vector bundles is isomorphic to the moduli space of slope-stable holomorphic vector bundles.

My research interests lie in complex differential and Kaehler geometry.
