New article published in PRL (Editors' Suggestion!)

Phase transitions in "conventional" materials and topological phase transitions are not so different after all! In this PRL, we show that disorder-driven topological phase transitions not only admit local order parameters, but also reveal the role of fluctuations and correlations in the local topology. We introduce concepts such as the topological correlation length and topological critical exponents, bridging topological phases with critical phenomena. Download the SISSA news release
